One aspect of Twitter that many people seem to find frustrating is that it’s so busy. The more people you follow, the more tweets there will be filling up your stream. To keep things from becoming too overwhelming, try organizing your “followees” (people you follow) into lists. This will allow you to categorize your stream so that you can focus on certain topics. You can also browse and follow lists created by other users. For example, if you’re a fan of CNN and you’d like to see what their anchors and reporters are talking about, you could simply follow CNN’s ¬†list entitled “anchors and reporters“. (Go to the CNN Twitter profile and just below the “Follow” button, you will see links for their tweets, their favorites, their followers and followees, followed by their lists.)
